Opening and saving a pattern on an Apple iPad

Opening a pattern with Safari.

1. Tap the "Download" button.
2. The pattern should open automatically in Safari.

Download

Adding the pattern to your Reading List.

1. When viewing your pattern with Safari, tap the "Share" button in the top menu bar.
2. Tap "Add to Reading List".
If you have an iPad 2 or later the file will be saved to your iPad so that you can view it even when not connected to the Internet.



Adding the pattern to iBooks.

If you have the iBooks app on your iPad you can add the pattern file to that. iBooks is free from the Apple App Store.

1. When viewing your pattern with Safari, tap the page . The option to "Open in iBooks" should appear briefly near the top right-hand corner of the pattern.
2. Tap this link to open and save the file in iBooks.

Printing patterns in iBooks.

1. When viewing your pattern with iBooks, tap the Share button in the top menu bar.
2. Tap "Print".
3. Select a printer, page range, and number of copies.
